Interview with Mathias Weil
Designer Interview
23 April 2019
I wanted to become a photographer in my early years. however, my parents were more interested in learning a "serious" profession. after my apprenticeship and a few years of work, i decided to reorient my career and successfully turned my hobby into a profession.
The agency VR360° was born out of my passion for vr-photography and drone flying. during a 10-month build-up phase the agency started and has continued to expand since then.
My photography is the door for me to show other old familiar views in new light, to discover new perspectives on the environment and to pass them on.
All kinds of photography and 3d-design, I always discover new and interesting possibilities!
There are to much good designs out there, to talk about.
The Annual Report (a magazin with 80 pages) of the ZSW (Centre for Solar Energy and Water Stuff Research Baden-Württemberg) in Stuttgart, Germany 1996.

Perfectionism
1. How can I make it even better and more interesting? 2. I always try to feel free and unprejudiced while designing.
Relaxed, relieved, satisfied and what comes next?
When it awakens emotions, makes you think and stays in your memory.
The technical aspect, followed by the emotional part.
It's hard to say, design is constantly evolving, new techniques are constantly being developed. design will always come in new forms.
I haven't had my own exhibition yet. I'm currently working on a virtual viewing experience without a VR headset - more will not be revealed yet!
Mother nature, landscapes, architecture and commercial construction and road landscapes.
My Mac, my car, the parfume of my girlfriend, a old chair from the 18th century and a lot of books.
Getting up, coffee, shower, checking e-mails, checking appointments, off to shooting, or to the office, coffee, taking pictures or editing pictures on the computer, relaxing with friends, eating something and if necessary back to the office or shooting. the end is between 1 and 2 o'clock at night.
Do what you want, do it with passion and love for the details.
Nikon D 850, Nikon Z7, Phantom 4 Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and PTGui
I use every minute of free time to find new things or to work on designs. I think a lot of designers having a problem with that - me too. :)
das ist schwer vorherzusagen, ideen kommen und gehen und sind nicht an zeit gebunden ... "die gedanken sind frei" (old german folk song)
