I decided.

Whenever the design is connected to children, the elderly, and the disabled, I want to be engaged in anything.

To love people.

Whether they love people or not.

The evaluation point is whether the design is created for people or not.

To enrich people’s life.

For much more children, the elderly and the disabled.

It’s that there are many regions which we have not been engaged in.

Because we are professionals specializing just in children’s facility and welfare facility.

I can’t choose one from many projects.
Whenever I can see people’s smile, I get satisfied.

The consciousness of the national border gets much weaker.

As long as design is for human, the excessive change will not be occurred.
But the superficial high-technology will be introduced more and more.

Making decision quickly.

Whenever we get requests from clients, we start.
Design is started from questions to clients.

To be conscious of people.

To realize design, the technology is necessary.

We use natural materials mainly.
They express the region and the color the nature has is always beautiful and sometimes it shows a little change to us.

Before asking, I want people to feel by themselves.

Each season has each beautiful scenery and good points.

When I heard these episodes after completing projects. For example, the exercise and food quantity were increased, foods children can’t eat were decreased and then mother sent messages for saying thank you.

Smiles of children, the elderly and the disabled motivate me.

At the age f 15, I decided to become a designer.

Human and nature live and survive while changing always.
Thousand years later, people live in adopting the changes at the time, as it is.

For children, it’s important not to give too much. Because with shortage or lack, they begin to create to make up for.
For the elderly and the disabled, love and kindness in design are necessary.
I want to tell it’s important to design essential kindness, not superficial one.

We are an architecture design office, specializing only in children’s facility and welfare facility, established in 1972.Now we have 520 works as children’s facility such as kindergarten and nursery, and 50 works as welfare facility for elderly or disabled people.Recently, we established an affiliated company which design and produce furniture so that we can try to realize environment with high quality by designing totally.

It’s what makes human’s better life .

I like simple design, which makes users attracted attention.

Natural materials such as wood, stone, iron and so on.And to use them in natural as much as possible.

When I can archive a good result with low cost.

Considering whether people become comfortable or not.

I feel happy because I imagine how people will become happy.

It’s not until that people use the environment we designed and become happy.

It’s love for people to use.

Considering whether people can use it comfortably.

Design should make human environment and their life comfortable. It should not cause to their uncomfortableness.We have responsibilities of designing in always considering earth environment and human life.

Our field, architecture and environment tend to use high technology, but the development of human is not changed so much for a long time. In this sense, it’s important to combine high and low technology well.

A lot of inspirations are come from beautiful nature.

It’s my design style that it makes people in mind and nature become much richer by making use of its environment and connecting inside and outside.These designs are come from my loving and respecting nature always.

In Japan, people have confronted nature and made use of it well for a long time. We have these senses and ideas inside the bottom of our body and mind, which gives us a good influence for designing.

We always think about collaboration when there are outstanding companies or persons in some particular field.

It’s the way to understand the designer’s philosophy or belief and their works, and then believe him or her.

We hear the request from clients, research the circumstances around the site and then give an answer as design.

Architecture and creating environment are different from art.You should not be selfish, you should design considering the circumstances.

Positive one is to make people become happy.Negative point is to be possible to make them sad.

Using time fully by deciding fast.

Depends on the project. But it may take almost 3 months at minimum to 2 years at max in the case of architecture or environment.
