About Geometric Residence Íbúðarinnrétting

Geometrísk íbúð er íbúðarinnrétting staðsett í miðborg Taipei. Heimilið er 99 fermetrar og inniheldur tvö svefnherbergi og tvö baðherbergi. Rúmfræðin stýrir allri hönnuninni og þríhyrnings-, ferninga- og sexhyrningsform eru notuð um allt rýmið. Óreglulegur skápur mótar aðalhornið í innréttingunni. Bogadreginn glerskilrúm aðskilur svefnherbergið frá fataherberginu og víkkar útsýnið. Efnin eru meðal annars eik, rósagullslitað járn, málning og kvarsflísar. Hin bjarta og einfalda litapalletta styður við rólegt og afslappandi heimili.

Unique Properties: It is a 99 square meters mansion located in central Taipei. Geometric residence is the main design concept.
In the overall project, the bright and minimalist color palette, decorative planting, lightweight metal structure, and natural wood material selection all contribute to a cozy and stress-relieving home.
Dimensions & Packaging: 99 Square meters with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms.

Production Technology: Main materials used in the project are oak, rose gold iron, paint, quartz tiles.
Design Challenge: Special geometric shape design in carpenter work.
Research: The fundamental elements of the space are composed of points, lines, and planes. The classic method in this project is to dismantle and to construct. For instance, the style of shoe cabinet which is at right side of the entrance was made by the polygon with concave planes. Furthermore, the objects in space were decomposed to 2-D graphs then to separate as line components to produce the opened showcase style.
Inspiration: In this project, the principal concept is geometry. Triangle, square and hexagon shapes were used in the house. Irregular cabinet converts the most important corner of the whole space.
Visual extension is also the core of this case. The curved glass is a partition between bedroom and walk-in closet, amplifying the effect of visualization.
Project Duration: The project started in August 2018 and finished in MAY 2019.

Operation Flow: One of the most challenge tasks is building irregular shape. A novel strategy employing carpenter working in geometry modeling for cabinet, combining with several colors in planar geometry makes whole image totally different. To enhance the visual effect, designer further utilized the paints of metal square tube as line of structure in interior space.
