About Nudibranch Hótel og dvalarstaður
Nudibranch er hótel og dvalarstaður á Nanji-eyju í Zhejiang-héraði í Kína. Hönnunin nær yfir 31000 fermetra og sækir innblástur í sjávarlífverur sem finnast við eyjuna, svo sem sæsnigla og önnur skeldýr. Byggingin stendur á mjúkum fótum sem tengja jörðina við veitingastaði, bari, heilsulind og sundlaug. Almenningsrýmið líkist svífandi rými yfir sandinum. Sandurinn teygir sig inn í hótelið og myndar leiksvæði utandyra í skugganum. Umhverfisvæn tækni dregur úr umhverfisáhrifum.

- Unique Properties
- The building blends the boundaries between the building and the landscape by its organic form and flexible connectivity; it sits on the site like a nudibranch crouching on the peaceful bay. Many Eco-friendly technologies have been installed to minimize the environment impact.

- Inspiration
- The design is inspired by sea creatures, which the island is famous for, such as nudibranch and other shellfish. This “mollusk” lifts itself by its soft legs and stretches its tentacles to explore different directions.The public part resembles a floating space above the sand. The sandy ground blends into the hotel to become an outdoor playground in the shadow cast by the building above. The legs connect the ground to restaurants and bars, and the SPA and swimming pool to to the public space.
