Silent er táknmálssamskiptatæki sem búið er til í þeim tilgangi að styðja fólk með heyrnar- og talörðugleika. Silent virkar í gegnum samskiptakerfi milli manns og tölvu, og notendur geta átt samskipti á einfaldan hátt með handstýringu. Tækið er úr akrýli og framleitt með þrívíddarprentun. Hugmyndin byggist á mannúðlegri umhyggju, virðingu fyrir einstaklingsmun og athygli á þörfum hvers og eins. Markmiðið er að gera daglegt líf þægilegra og hjálpa notendum að taka þátt í samfélaginu.
