About When the Present Meets the Past Innanhússhönnun Veitingastaðar
Þegar Nútíðin Mætir Fortíðinni er innanhússhönnun veitingastaðar í borginni Taoyuan, Taívan, sem lokið var við í ágúst 2015. Verkefnið felur í sér endurnýjun á gömlum staðbundnum veitingastað innan eignar sem er 198,34 fermetrar að stærð. Hönnunin sækir innblástur í stíl Suzhou-borgar í Kína og beitir kínverskri fagurfræði á matsalinn. Loftið er samþætt með grindverki sem byggir á kínverskum tréssmíðaaðferðum. Hefðbundnar kínverskar tréhurðir með útskornum gluggagrindum skipta göngunum og gera ráð fyrir sveigjanlegri notkun. Speglaðir fletir auka sjónræna vídd, og stórir veggmálverk sýna hefðbundnar sviðsmyndir.
