- Cloudy Water and Xiaoxiang Shadow is a new seasonal colour developed by Xiaosen in collaboration with Polytechnic University of Milan. Inspired by the glazing colour of Jian Kiln Tianmu Porcelain, which is a famous porcelain of the Song Dynasty in Fujian. By employing a handdripping spray painting technique, it conveys the abstraction of the empty mountains and misty clouds, the majestic and unadorned aesthetics of the Song Dynasty through medium material of traditional Chinese ink.

- The objective was to integrate traditional Chinese elements more effectively into the work. This was achieved using ink sprays, which constructed an abstract mood depicting empty mountains and misty clouds. In addition, the texture details of Tianmu rabbit hair porcelain were presented in a different visual manifestation. The high gloss treatment on the surface accentuates the brightness and lustre while emphasizing the porcelain colour texture and increasing the expressive force of the product.

The design team has proposed an aesthetic solution by presenting different finishes. With the low saturated natural grey tones and Chinese inks as the medium, it uses a handdripping spray painting technique to restore the texture of Tianmu porcelain, like rabbit hair. Also, it highlights the Tianmu porcelain colour through the high gloss and silver powder materials, outlining the visual appearance of the mountains and clouds and realising the harmony of Tianmu porcelain colour and cultural aesthetics.
