About Zoom Sýningarkatalógur
Zoom sýningin (Þjóðfræðisafnið, Búdapest) beitir óhefðbundinni nálgun gagnvart safni safnsins. Efnisuppbyggingin mótast af breytingum á sjónarhorni sem kynna hluti og hlutahópa úr nýjum sjónarhornum. Katalógurinn leitast við að kynna þessa nálgun með ýmsum grafískum, bókbands- og prentlausnum. Innri kjölur bókarinnar ber einstakt mynstur fyrir hvert eintak sem er endurtúlkun á útsaumsmótífum sem eru dæmigerð fyrir ungverska þjóðlist. Sýningin var hönnuð af art1st Design Studio, aðalhönnuður Daniel Taraczky.

- Unique Properties
- Both the exhibition and the book take an unconventional approach, offering a unique perspective on the museum’s collection. The content and visual structure are shaped by shifts in viewpoint, presenting objects and object masses from new angles through exciting and playful solutions. This approach of unrepeatability is reflected in the book’s inner spine, which features a uniquely generated pattern for each copy.

- Red is a dominant color in the Hungarian folk art, which also identifies the exhibition's design, similarly with the recurring square shape elements. This is why the book’s design wanted to resemble to an exciting red square. Opening the cover it reveals a stylised decoration on the spine which are the visual reinterpretation of the embroidered motifs typical to the Hungarian folk art. One of the features of the book is these patterns have been uniquely generated for each of the thousand copies.
