About Reolink Öryggismyndavél
Reolink Solar Floodlight Cam er öryggismyndavél til útivistar með innbyggðum flóðljósum. Myndavélin er knúin sólarorku og innbyggðri rafhlöðu, þannig að ekki er þörf á tengingu við rafmagnskerfi. Ein klukkustund af beinu sólarljósi á dag dugar fyrir samfelldan rekstur og rafhlaðan endist í allt að 90 daga í skýjuðu eða rigningarsömu veðri. - Unique Properties
- The Reolink Solar Floodlight Cam creates an all scenarios smart security system. Using AI algorithms to recognize different object types, it allows users to customize lighting, siren, and recording strategies as needed, reducing false triggers and energy waste. Powered by solar energy, it removes cabling limits and reduces carbon emissions, providing security and comfortable illumination for home yards, driveways, and gardens around the clock, making outdoor security experience more intuitive.

- Production Technology
- The device adopts a solar powered system and efficient battery, eliminating the dependence on AC power. With an average of one hour of direct sunlight a day, the device can run continuously without charging, while the builtin battery lasts up to 90 days under cloudy or rainy conditions. The wirefree camera can be installed in home yards, driveways, and gardens. Square side fill lights provide ample illumination while IP67 protection ensures long term stable performance in all environments.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge is to deliver a flexible, efficient security experience. The builtin AI recognition system accurately distinguishes humans, vehicles, and animals, allowing users to customize response strategies. Harmless small animals activate only IR lights to prevent light pollution and ecological disturbance. When a person enters a designated zone, the system automatically activates bright lights and high decibel sirens and sends real time alerts via cloud. The alert zone can be customized.
- Research
- Traditional Outdoor Floodlight Security Cameras often depend on AC power, involve complex wiring, incur high installation costs, and are constrained by power source locations. They operate in always on mode, frequently triggered at night, causing light pollution. The Reolink Solar Floodlight Cam addresses these problems with AI powered intelligent recognition, solar power supply, and zoned sensing technology, offering flexible deployment, precise security, and ecofriendly operation.
- Inspiration
- The design perfectly balances form and function. Its sleek white body fits naturally into a variety of settings, whether in modern buildings or traditional courtyards, while the central black camera lens adds a sense of technological sophistication and mystery, creating a striking visual contrast with the white body. Symmetrically arranged square side fill lights provide ample illumination while maintaining visual harmony.
- Project Duration
- Designed and developed in Shenzhen, China, in early 2025, the project is expected to be launched globally across multiple countries and regions by mid 2026.
- Operation Flow
- With the Reolink App, users can remotely monitor live view across a wide view of 150 degrees, in smooth, lagfree 2K HD clarity. The device supports light remote control, alarm activation, and brightness and 3000K to 6000K color temperature adjustment and offers strobe alerts, strong lighting, motion activated lighting. Enhanced night vision keeps images clear in darkness. The device is also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control, simplifying operations.
