About Free Estonian Skemmtun

Í þessu einstaka listaverki notaði Olga Raag eistnesk dagblöð frá árinu þegar bíllinn var upphaflega framleiddur árið 1973. Gula dagblöðin á Þjóðarbókhlöðunni voru mynduð, hreinsuð, leiðrétt og breytt til að nota í verkefnið. Lokaniðurstaðan var prentuð á sérstakt efni sem notað er á bíla, sem stendur í 12 ár, og það tók sólarhring að sækja um. Ókeypis eistneska er bíll sem vekur athygli, umlykur fólk með jákvæða orku og fortíðarþrá, tilfinningar í bernsku. Það býður upp á forvitni og þátttöku frá öllum.

Free Estonian Skemmtun vann A' Design Award í silfri, gífurlega virta viðurkenningu sem veitt er hönnunarverkum í fremstu röð, stórfallegum og áhrifamiklum. Sigurvegarar í silfri eru ákaflega snjöll og afar skapandi verk sem sýna framúrskarandi sérfræðiþekkingu, hæfileika og skarpskyggni hönnuða sinna. Unique Properties: It is unique,first in the World.I used Estonian newspapers from the year when the car was originally produced 1973.Photographed the yellow newspapers at the National Library, spending weeks to clean, adjust and edit the files that I could use on this project.

Design Challenge: Hardest part was to find New idea for old car.
Research: The project started in June 2019 in Estonia and finished in september 2019
Inspiration: I was inspired by this old car and an interesting time in the Soviet Union in 1973. A good chance to review were the newspapers from that year.
Project Duration: This car was designed in Estonia,2019. For Special occassions like weddings,birthdays,graduation etc.
