About Dragon Design d'interni per ristorante
Dragon è un ristorante situato all'interno di un edificio per uffici dedicato alla tecnologia finanziaria a Pechino. Il progetto si estende su 2500 metri quadrati e ricerca un'atmosfera pacata basata su elementi naturali. Una sfida principale era rappresentata dal fatto che l'80 per cento dello spazio dedicato alla ristorazione si trova nel sottosuolo e non riceve luce naturale. La natura viene pertanto simulata. Una cascata e una vasca sono realizzate in calcestruzzo gettato in opera con tecnologie digitali, e anatroccoli in rame sembrano nuotare in superficie. Le sale da pranzo private richiamano la forma di una valle, con piante e stagioni, mentre la luce simulata valorizza questi ambienti raccolti.

- Unique Properties
- The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

- Inspiration
- Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
