Pad è una sedia pieghevole progettata per risparmiare spazio. La sedia si richiude in un pannello piatto che misura 41 cm di lunghezza, 4 cm di larghezza e 86 cm di altezza. Più pannelli ripiegati possono essere impilati e riposti insieme. Per aprire la sedia, si tira verso il basso la traversa inferiore, così che la seduta e le gambe fuoriescano. La seduta viene quindi ruotata verso l'alto di 90 gradi e le gambe abbassate di 90 gradi. Pad è realizzata in teak, un legno stabile, resistente all'usura e protetto contro il deterioramento e gli insetti. La forma piatta si adatta sia alle abitazioni sia agli spazi pubblici.

Ricerca: Folding chair is a product that can be seen everywhere in our life and will bring great aspects to our life. Folding chairs are usually used at home to entertain guests or to sit on their own. Easy to fold and save space. According to research, furniture design output value had reached 210 billion euros in 2002, its development prospect is very broad.
Ispirazione: The shape of the tablet inspired us to come up with this project. The size of the tablet is very space-saving and easy to store. Folding chairs are also in demand in large public places. We wanted to design a chair with the same function. So, we made the folding chair a flat panel. Usually, it's a chair. It can be folded into a flat sheet when needed.
Durata del Progetto: The project started in September 2020 in Milan and finished in February 2021 in that place, and was exhibited in China in February 2021.
Flusso Operativo: Start with a tablet. First, grab the bottom beam of the tablet and pull it down. The seat and legs of the chair will snap out. Second, pull the seat and legs to the bottom and fold them up by 90 degrees to form the seat. Finally, fold the legs down 90 degrees to form a chair.
