Let Parents Stay è un carattere tipografico ispirato al tradizionale ricamo Han, creato per sostenere un villaggio in condizioni di povertà. Il villaggio di Jinling ospita più di duemila bambini lasciati indietro dai genitori emigrati per lavoro, e molti abitanti sono esperti nel ricamo Han. I prodotti ricamati locali si vendevano poco perché i motivi erano rimasti pressoché invariati per cento anni. Gli elementi classici del ricamo sono stati astratti e ricomposti in forme di lettera moderne, che le ricamatrici locali realizzano a mano. L'obiettivo è generare reddito e tramandare l'artigianato attraverso un linguaggio visivo contemporaneo.

- Jinling Village is a poverty-stricken village with More than 2,000 “left-behind” children. When the designer got there, he was surprised to find that all the local people had mastered certain Han Embroidery skills, but their product not sell well because of the old fashion style. So he worked with the Hubei Han Embroidery Association to help revive the local Han Embroidery culture.

- Here is a breakdown of several classic elements from traditional Chinese embroidery patterns. They are abstracted according to modern aesthetics, to reconstruct classic elements, bring out the culture hidden behind the patterns, to master the unchangeable pattern combinations of traditional Chinese embroidery, and produce a brand-new visual language. Creating a typeface composed of extracted Han Embroidery elements and ask the local poverty-stricken embroidery workers to embroider the letters of this font through the techniques of Han Embroidery.
