Oxoki Mutant è una motocicletta elettrica da carico progettata per il trasporto dell'ultimo miglio nelle città. Il vano di carico è collocato in basso e davanti al conducente, tra quest'ultimo e la ruota anteriore, seguendo la configurazione delle biciclette cargo. La capacità di carico è di 350 litri. Il telaio è realizzato in acciaio al carbonio ad alta resistenza, mentre la carenatura è in polipropilene iniettato, un materiale resistente e facilmente riciclabile. Il motore elettrico offre tre livelli di assistenza ed è controllato tramite un acceleratore. Alcune aste di sterzo trasmettono il movimento di rotazione dal manubrio alla ruota anteriore.

Sfida Progettuale: The great challenge of this project is the creation of a two-wheeled motorcycle with a low front load that met all standards and approvals necessary to be able to circulate and to build a cargo motorcycle with a long path.
Ricerca: The objective of Oxoki Mutant is to be the best cargo motorcycle to offer Last Mile mobility and transport solutions. Thought, designed and created to contribute to the concept of "Smart Cities" and provide an efficient and sustainable mobility solution for the huge challenge of Last Mile logistics.
This motorcycle has been thinked to solve a series of challenges:
- Guaranteeing fast deliveries, avoiding traffic jams and parking difficulties.
- Be sustainable.
- Help to modernize cities, making them more friendly.
Actually, there is a functional and tested prototype.
Ispirazione: The starting point for Oxoki Mutant are cargobikes, which are bicycles used to load people and goods. This Oxoki Mutant replaces the bicycle with a motorcycle assisted only by an electric motor. It does not have a pedelec system, only an accelerator to activate the motor that will give traction to the vehicle. There are motorcycles adapted with a box rear load for transporting goods. This motorcycles is based on the low front load (the load goes between the driver and the front wheel).
Durata del Progetto: The project began its conceptualization and design phase in 2019. During 2020, the first functional protototype was manufactured and is currently in search of financing for its transition to production and subsequent commercialization, which is expected in 2023.
Flusso Operativo: Oxoki Mutant use is the same as any electric motorcycle with the particularity that the distance between the driver and the front wheel is much longer. That's why that the steering is connected to the handlebar through steering bars which transmit the turning movement from the handlebar to the front wheel.
This motorcycle has a 350L load capacity and three levels of electric motor assistance.
