About Scholars Xuntang Interni d'albergo
Scholars Xuntang è un progetto di interni alberghieri realizzato all'interno di edifici residenziali storici a Wuxi, in Cina. Gli interni si estendono su 5400 metri quadrati e conservano il carattere delle pareti bianche e delle tegole nere. Le strutture originali sono state protette e consolidate, così che le tracce del tempo restano visibili. La decorazione è sobria, per lasciare emergere il tessuto antico. I materiali comprendono finiture in legno, pietra, mattone dorato, vetro, carta da parati, pittura, lino, seta e rattan di Malacca. I tessuti locali in seta e lino richiamano l'artigianato regionale.
