Image of Spirit è un progetto di interior design residenziale per un'abitazione di 920 metri quadrati nella periferia occidentale di Chengdu. La corte viene utilizzata per organizzare la vita quotidiana e per bilanciare lo spazio interno ed esterno. Un elemento d'acqua nella corte d'ingresso e l'illuminazione interna collegano la sala cerimoniale con l'esterno. Sono impiegati materiali naturali, tra cui lastre metalliche, legno scuro e ampie pareti libere, che mantengono le aree comuni semplici e sobrie. - Traditionally, In the Oriental concept of building a house, the vestibule and the backyard are essential, and they are necessary for transforming different spaces, so as the L House in the western suburbs of Chengdu. Opening the door and coming through the corridor to the ceremonial hall, we notice that the indoor and outdoor are connected to some extend thanks to the waterscape at the entrance courtyard and the lighting indoors. A vivid indoor space comes into our sight as a result.

- A house should be comfortable for living and cultivating. With the development of one's aesthetic needs and spiritual consciousness, the house is no longer only a space for living, but assuming the function of cultivating residents' minds.
- Ispirazione
- The designer takes the "courtyard" as the inspiration to organize the order of daily life to make sure the owner's living environment achieve balance between internal and external space, and the rhythm of life can be adjusted, thus creating a new leisured and cozy pace of life.
- Durata del Progetto
- The project started in August 2019 in Chengdu and finished in December 2021 in Chengdu.
- Flusso Operativo
- A family elevator is added to improve commuting between the four stairs in terms of vertical movement lines. The stairs and the negative first floor entrance are near to the worker room, which can be successfully isolated from the master's moving line.
