Palette Table è un tavolino basso progettato per essere utilizzato stando seduti a terra, ispirato al chabudai giapponese. Il piano è formato da tre cerchi sovrapposti e l'ampio incavo curvo crea uno spazio in cui sedersi. Le persone possono lavorare sia frontalmente sia dai lati destro e sinistro. Due piccole linee curve delimitano la zona di seduta e generano un senso di vicinanza. La forma arrotondata elimina gli angoli difficili da raggiungere. Un piccolo foro nel piano superiore consente di far passare piccoli oggetti, mentre il piano inferiore è girevole. Il tavolino è realizzato in legno di rovere.

- Proprietà Uniche
- A unique low table that can be used freely with plenty of space for people to sit. The overlapping of the three circles has a meaning. The large depression is a place for people to sit, and it allows people to work not only from the front but also from the left and right sides. Additionally, two small curved lines guide the seating area and create a sense of intimacy. This shape eliminates hard-to-reach corners and gives you a perfectly round table.

- The challenge was to find a balance between beautiful shape and strength. We have come up with all kinds of patterns while predicting how it will be used and how it will flow.
- Ricerca
- It was an emotional formative research based on Japanese culture. In addition to being used for multiple purposes, we thought of a beautiful design that would become a symbol of the space, and a system that would fit in with daily life. When designing the product, we paid close attention to the emotions of the users, and were conscious of the way it would be used in daily life. We considered the size based on ergonomics while searching for a beautiful balance of shape.
- Ispirazione
- This table was inspired by Japanese floor sitting culture. In Japan, there is a low table called Chabudai that is used to sit on the floor. The Chabudai is a type of furniture that is familiar to Japanese people, as it can be used to gather around the dining table or for hobby purposes. In response to changes in the way people gather and spend their time due to the coronavirus pandemic, we came up with a new table shape.

- The project started in June 2023 and ended in October 2023.
- Flusso Operativo
- You can place your elbows on a curved surface that follows your body, allowing you to maintain a beautiful posture. The overlapping circles create a sense of division in work, creating an environment where each work can be done differently.
A small hole in the top plate is a point where cats can poke their heads out and take out small items, creating communication. The bottom top plate rotates like a propeller, giving it a sense of playfulness. - Crediti Immagini
