About Copper Meteor Design d'interni per ristorante

Unique Properties
The first floor serves as a bar and reception, with a large counter and a floating stone-clad wine cabinet. A recessed granite base with concealed lighting defines the first impression. The second floor is a flexible banquet level, where linear ceiling lights adapt to varied table layouts while focusing on the teppanyaki zone. The main dining level resolves low ceilings by lifting corridors and concealing services. The top floor becomes a private club, with constellation-like chandeliers creating a ceremonial focus.
Dimensions & Packaging
The interior area, excluding the kitchen, is approximately 1,124 m2. The layout includes a first-floor bar and reception, a second-floor banquet space with flexible table types, a third-floor cluster of 10-12 private suites, and a fifth-floor private club defined by signature chandeliers. The building was a newly built steel frame; all interior structures and MEP systems were reconfigured. With the elevator core at the rear, each floor features a front lobby guiding guests into zones.

Production Technology
Walls and ceilings are finished in muted tones, while the flooring introduces livelier color accents, forming a balanced visual. Large surfaces are clad with faux copper-patina panels and specialty wall fabrics, paired with 120 X 100 cm large tiles, creating a textured and composed backdrop. From the second to fifth floors, long-pile carpeting enhances acoustic absorption and evokes the quiet comfort of a luxury hotel. Japanese elements appear only sparingly, on the first-floor ceiling and at select seating points, as stylistic cues, while not dominating the overall atmosphere.
Design Challenge
Existing plumbing, exhaust, and electrical systems did not meet operational needs and required full reconfiguration and new electrical applications. Limited ceiling heights on the second and third floors, combined with bulky ventilation and air-conditioning systems, reduced visual comfort. The solution raised portions of corridors and concealed equipment within counter bases and ceiling layers to maintain height and clarity. A concealed metal frame with reverse suspension allows the recessed base to be illuminated while ensuring safety and stability.
Research
From the bar to banquet halls, private suites, and the top-floor club, layers of fire, metal, and light create a sensory feast. Inspired by Japanese teppanyaki precision and reinterpreted with a darker, modern tone, curved corridors and a floating stone bar flow through light and shadow. Thousands of suspended light points crown the fifth floor, where flame reflects on metal, turning each gathering into a fleeting yet unforgettable brilliance.
Inspiration
Located in Beitun District, Taichung, the project transformed a steel-structured shell into a high-end teppanyaki restaurant for banquets, fine dining, and private receptions. A purely Japanese vocabulary was set aside to better suit the exterior form and neighborhood context. Instead, copper-patina textures paired with structural linearity became the main design axis, with selective Japanese elements used in key areas. Circulation planning and layered materials create a clear hierarchy and privacy, guiding guests from reception to private dining in a smooth spatial sequence.
Project Duration
The project finished in July 2025 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow
Functionally, the long-pile carpet contributes acoustic softness and serenity, helping diners focus their attention on the grill and the rhythm of the flames. Visually, the copper-patina textures and light bands articulate spatial hierarchy, while private rooms provide highly rated seclusion. The client and shareholders are particularly pleased with the fifth-floor club: the round dining table and constellation-like chandeliers have become a social signature.
