White Box è l'interno di un negozio di abbigliamento situato a Rui'an, Wenzhou. Il negozio occupa una superficie di circa 35 metri quadrati. L'ingresso è di piccole dimensioni e la tradizionale vetrina espositiva è sostituita da una lunga finestra orizzontale, sotto la quale si estende un'ampia superficie bianca. Il bianco è applicato all'intera struttura, semplice e simile a una scatola, mentre i fasci di luce sono disposti in modo da valorizzare il pavimento in terrazzo bianco. È stato aggiunto un piccolo soppalco per aumentare la superficie utilizzabile e mantenere la pianta ben organizzata. Una scala in rovere, luci a pavimento e strisce luminose collegano i due livelli.

- In this case, the store takes an area of only 35 square meters. The front door is small, and the traditional display window is replaced by a horizontally long window with much white at the bottom. In this simple box-liked structure, white is massively used and the light beams are well designed to make the white-colored terrazzo floor more elegant. We built a mini loft to meet its functional purpose. The oak stairs, the footlights and the light stripes are another ingenious designs to connect the space.

- The project takes an area of 32 square meters. The inner structure has a width of 5300mm and depth of 5250mm and height of 4550mm, which takes an area of 28 square meters. There is an extended area with a width of 5400mm and depth of 690mm, which makes an area of 3.7 square meters.

- Tecnologia di Produzione
- White is such a permissive color that we make the best of white by using it massively in this room. Light is appropriately used to make the beam of light play a specific guiding role in dealing with the aerial perspective relationship of vertical and horizontal space. The floor is covered with white-colored terrazzo, which makes this clean room even more elegant. The stone would feels like warm and softened under the gentle light.

- The hardest part of this design is the room takes an area of only 35 square meters. It's quite difficult to meet the balance of function and visual appearence.

- A classic space will never exist without the presence of a human being. The interaction between space and human being always enlivens and warms up the space, making it a full-of-story space, while the designer is just out there to get the story ready to tell. The designer needs to take a prior consideration on the relationship between construction and space to make the space more interesting and memorable and with more speciality.
- Ispirazione
- The space and time are infinitive, the space lives only in the current time. A classic space will never exist without the presence of a human being. The interaction between space and human being always enlivens and warms up the space, making it a full-of-story space, while the designer is just out there to get the story ready to tell.

- Located in Rui'an, Wenzhou, the project was designed in April 2019 and finished in May 2019.

- The front door is small, and the traditional display window is replaced by a horizontally long window with much white at the bottom to attract the passerbys. We built a mini loft in this room, because we believe another mini space in a small room will extend the room itself and make it well-organized. Furthermore, the room will also be fully used in functional purpose.
