A Winsome Cottage is a residential interior design for a family home of 138.84 square meters. The color scheme draws on the classical blue, grey, black and gold tones of a French cigar pavilion, and these colors are applied to the wallpaper, the lighting and the desk in the living area and the bedroom. A fixed open bookshelf and wall racks make reading a central activity of the home. The desk is made of antibacterial FENIX NTM material and is supported by white marble. An open layout replaces partitions, so each area is connected and well used.

- Unique Properties
- Take the color scheme concept of the famous French cigar pavilion; employ the classical blue, grey, black, and gold hue on the wallpaper, illumination, and desk in the living area and the bedroom. The captivating finishing colors and the furniture configuration bring about the cozy and elegant atmosphere of the field.
- Inspiration
- The fixed open bookshelf as the spatial furnishing, which helps the library become the hub of the arena, moreover, brings about rich humanistic implication of the space. Plenty printed works as the design notion and the focal vision, as well as to work in concert with the British urban yuppie style of modern and fashionable tone, furthermore, couples the young temperament into the calm and elegant house.
- Research
- Fix up CD racks on the wall by the window, and assort with the bookcase above the TV, so that meet the expectation of fashioning the tranquil reading atmosphere. The unique round lamp above the dining table emits soft light via indirect lighting and brings about the mellow dining atmosphere. The master bedroom wallpaper, which echoes the same concept of the TV wall in the living area, only choose different colors to form similar texture of the private and public domains.
- Challenge
- Consider there are two children of the family, how to take the advantages of each area is the prime issue of the configuration. Instead of setting the compartments, more important is to plan the wide-open layout as needed. Furthermore, via meticulously arrange the furnishing, which not only shapes the interior scenery; but also excellently connect and utilize each domain.
- Realization and Technology
- The TV wall surface is paste with imported wallpaper, which color-pattern reproduces the identity of the French cigar Pavilion. Not only creates the striking finishing, as well as to cast the remarkable tonality of the living area. The desk is made of antibacterial FENIX NTM material, which can revamp the scratches merely via hot towel wiping; and make use of white marble for the desk support, which creates the beauty of compound texture.
