More About Br Design Center Office
Br Design Center is an office interior for a creative workshop in Chongqing, China. The design follows a loft industrial style. Water, electricity and fire fighting pipes are left exposed on the walls. Materials recovered on the construction site are reused, and existing industrial elements are kept. The building skin uses a double layer metal mesh grid that filters excess light while allowing natural lighting and ventilation. A solar photovoltaic system of more than 800 square meters is installed on the roof. Layered spaces encourage interaction among staff and visitors.

Ryan Wen graduated from the Environmental Art College of Zhejiang University of Technology. He has been engaged in the design industry for 20 years. - Unique Properties
- The design style of this case is deduced in the LOFT industrial style, using environmentally friendly, rough texture, strong color contrast, pop-style decoration language, and the re-utilization of recycled materials as much as possible, and the available materials recovered on the construction site. Through the later ingenious design, reflecting the moving details full of industry characteristics and humanistic feelings.
- Inspiration
- The Brothers Decoration Creative Workshop, a creative workshop integrating home culture, creative industries, smart technology, and environmental protection, draws on the design concepts and expression language of the energy-saving and environmentally friendly organic building A large number of pipes such as water, electricity and fire fighting facilities are exposed on the facade wall, presenting a unique and strong LOFT industrial style.

- As the internship base of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Brothers Decoration Creative Workshop selects a large number of outstanding design talents to pursue their dreams and practice their creativity every year. - The design keeps as much as possible the industrial symbols and elements in the existing buildings, maximizes the recycling of building materials, and pays attention to the energy consumption and energy conservation and environmental protection technology of the building in the future use. In the building roof of this case, a solar photovoltaic system of more than 800 square meters was designed and installed.
- Operation and Interaction
- The building in this case is a new building, and the floor layout tends to be flat and closed. In order to enhance the unique stylization of the overall space and make the space full of tension and excitement, the design director Wen Zheping adopted complex but ingenious spaces and mistakes. The layered pattern, similar to the rhythmic relationship between strong and weak sound, enhances the interest of the space, and strengthens the efficient "departmental neighborhood system".
