About Cyberize Home Cloud Network Storage Server
Cyberize Home Cloud is a network storage server designed for creative work at home. Data is stored locally and synchronized across computers and mobile devices, and Windows, Mac, Android and iOS systems are supported. The body is made of aluminum alloy and transparent polycarbonate, machined with CNC tools, polished, anodized and finished with a gradient coating. The form is composed of two stacked squares based on the golden ratio. The main body is raised 16 mm above the surface, which allows cooling without a fan. The unit measures 160 by 175 by 77 mm.

It synchronizes and shares data on PCs and mobile phones in real-time at speed 10 times faster than the public cloud. As a home cloud, it perfectly supports various systems such as Windows/Mac/Android/iOS, and all data is stored locally, minimizing issues such as data privacy, subscription fees, or traffic costs. With multiple Cyberize devices, users can create a real-time remote collaboration cloud of their own.

- Research
- As American economist Jeremy Rifkin once proposed in American 3.0 and Industry 3.0, the data center of the future will be dispersed in various IoT devices. The insight behind it is that the distribution of computer computing power is iterated synchronously with the energy system. In the next decade, new digital service and management infrastructure built by the family cloud, combined with household solar energy production and storage, will significantly reduce the energy and network consumption of IDCs, and distributed energy and computing power will bring a greener and lower-cost Internet infrastructure.
- Challenge
- The hardest part is the heat dissipation of the product. The properties of this product make the size of the components fixed, so there will be very large restrictions on the shape, and we intend to adopt a fanless cooling design to reduce the size of the product itself, so other cooling methods must be considered. We thinking of an excellent heat dissipation method, the main body is raised so that the distance between the main body and the ground is 16mm, and the heat dissipation effect is achieved by the way of leaving the ground.
- Realization and Technology
- Based on Cloud-native and P2P technologies, Cyberize home cloud builds a private communication network between users, allowing users to safely and privately realize the needs of remote collaboration scenarios. The aluminum alloy body and the transparent PC parts of Cyberize home cloud are processed by CNC high-precision machine tools, and then subjected to uniform 3D rotary polishing, and then the metal body is anodized, and the transparent PC is painted with gradient treatment. The distance between the main body and the ground is 16mm, which has a good heat dissipation function, and is quiet and long-lived with extremely low energy consumption.
- Operation and Interaction
- To bring a simple, user-oriented, and unique data management experience, the team created a dedicated cloud system CasaOS. 1.Cross-platform synchronization and data sharing across PC and mobile devices at Gigabit Ethernet speed. 2.Mount Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive and cloud spaces, aggregate and manage your scattered data and save monthly fees. 3.Set up and remote access private cloud collaboration network. 4.USB-C port for 40Gbps high-speed read/write between MacBook/PC and workstations. 5.Support Apple Time Machine and version management. 6.Batch preprocessing of image and video assets to accelerate post-production workflow.

- Incubated in Shanghai, China in 2022, the appearance design is in January 2022, which lasted for more than 3 months, and the production of the product is still in progress.
