The award was conferred within the 2023 - 2024 A' Design Award & Competition and was reached through blind peer review by an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members, who scored anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.

About Brazy Lisboa Workspace
Brazy Lisboa is an office interior designed for an entertainment, gaming and esports company. The workspace covers 320 square meters and occupies a whole floor of a commercial building. A sunset-orange ceiling extends over the entire space, recalling the colours of the surrounding nature. Vertical gardens cut through reflective ceramic wall panels, which widen the space and reflect light. A bar shaped as a silver wave welcomes visitors. A noise-absorbing carpet suggests green grass. Natural light reaches every area, reducing the use of artificial lighting.
About Yaroslav Galant
Yaroslav Galant is the founder and chief designer of Galant I.D.Lda. Yaroslav and his team's daring projects frequently catch the attention of the international media. Yaroslav was awarded the "Golden Arch" in 2008 for his design of the shipping company's office in Odessa in the category "Public Interior. Hotels. Offices." The designer was also honoured with the "Domus Design Magazine Choice 2008" award. His "Born 2B Burn" collection and firing technology are one-of-a-kind. Yaroslav is also the creator of the innovative Smart Industrial design style. For the first time, this style was used in the interior of the Fire & Water office in Kyiv (2011).

- Unique Properties
- In the evolution of modern office spaces, Galant ID Studio offers its own vision of emotional comfort for employees and office visitors. With design as an extension of the surrounding nature and considering man as part of nature, designers create a forward-looking concept of fashionable symbiosis and multidimensional free space from a societal perspective.
- Inspiration
- Brazy is an entertainment, gaming, and esports company. Therefore, everything in the interior is aimed at creating a funky atmosphere with a green corporate colour. A sunset-orange ceiling extends over the entire office space. Natural vertical gardens cutting through reflective ceramic wall panels aim to achieve a visually clean and sustainable space. A bar, designed in the form of a silver ocean wave, welcomes visitors and gradually sets the stage for the guest.
- Research
- Analysed the colour pallet surrounding the office, and tried to implement the colour pallet of the surrounding nature into the design of the office, accentuating the colours slightly. In result the ceiling resembled the sunset in Lisbon, the carpets, grass in the parks, and white glazed ceramic panels on the walls widened the space, and reflected the light.
- Challenge
- The main challenge with this project was to create access to natural light from the outside in every part of the office. In result, this decreased the use of artificial lighting and allowed the team members to to have access to natural light throughout the day.
- Realization and Technology
- Brazy is an entertainment, gaming, and esports company. Therefore, everything in the interior is aimed at creating a funky atmosphere with a green corporate colour. A new design concept has given a second life to a typical office space with white plasterboard walls and Armstrong ceilings.
- Operation and Interaction
- A sunset-orange ceiling extends over the entire office space. Natural vertical gardens cutting through reflective ceramic wall panels aim to achieve a visually clean and sustainable space. A bar, designed in the form of a silver ocean wave, welcomes visitors and gradually sets the stage for the guest. On the summer outdoor terrace, we see the continuation of the wave enveloping an imaginary surfer. The noise-absorbing carpet on the floor creates an association with green grass. The visual dominant in the office of the founders is a bright table for playing poker, serving as a quote from the classics of the gaming genre.
