Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design Goes to Rippling Club by Song Han
The international grand jury of the 2019 - 2020 A' Design Award & Competition recognizes Song Han for interior space and exhibition design

The award was conferred within the 2019 - 2020 A' Design Award & Competition and was decided through blind peer review by an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members, who scored anonymized entries against predetermined criteria.

Regarding Rippling Club
Rippling is a club interior of 360 square meters located in Shenzhen. The design draws on bionics and on the form of dripping water, so the boundary between outer and interior space, and between planes and solids, remains unmarked. An arched corridor is built from about 1800 tailor made translucent glazed tiles, which vibrate rhythmically as people pass. Sunken ripple shaped sofas and a wall installation artwork titled Flowing of Time complete the space. Fifteen steps lead visitors away from outside noise and toward inner calm.

- Challenge
- When you get in, what strikes you first is an arched corridor made up of 1800 odd tailor made translucent glazed tiles. As one or more humans pass, the tiles will vibrate rhythmically. There are 15 well designed steps, which will lead you to forget all the tumult outside and regain inner peace. There is an installation artwork on wall Flowing of Time. Everyone lives in this world of uncertainty.

- In terms of human oriented experience, the spatial-temporal aesthetics of oriental gardening is infused into the indoor space. When anyone walks around, he or she will see different dimensions of space and feel greatly delightful.

- The project started in April 2018 in Shenzhen and finished in October 2018 in Shenzhen, and was exhibited in Shenzhen in November 2018.
