Xray チェアについて

藤村は、X線画像のように背面が透けて見え、透明感のある軽やかさが感じられるX-Rayチェアをデザインした。構造強度が必要な座面と脚部には木材を使用する一方、荷重負担の少ない他の部分をフレーム構造とすることで全体重量の軽減に成功した。この軽快なチェアのイメージにより、X-Rayチェアは室内空間に自然に調和する。

独自の特性: X-ray chair is a design that a back side is erased like an x-ray, and brought translucent lightness. Because wood is used for the part of the seat and legs which needed structural strength and other parts which needed few burden become frames, as a result, lightweight chair can be obtained. x-ray chair is designed to adapt itself to the interior space naturally by the light image.
