About Simple Assembly ポスターフレーム
Simple Assemblyは、ポスター用のモジュール式ディスプレイラックです。本システムは、4種類のサイズのアルミニウム合金製フレームロッドと3種類のアクセサリーで構成されています。各ロッドには凹凸のジョイントが設けられ、一端にマグネット、もう一端に金属が配置されているため、ロッド同士を直線状またはL字状に連結できます。ゴム製コネクターは最大3本のロッドを接合し、クランプがポスターをしっかりと固定します。U字型のロックにより、ラックを街灯のポールに取り付けることも可能です。1セットで小型ポスター用にも中規模の展示ウォール用にも組み立てられるため、使われないまま余るフレームを減らすことができます。

- Unique Properties
- The general display stand is designed as a modular display stand. Users can assemble and fix the display stand by means of magnetic absorption and rubber interference matching with four frame rods of different sizes and three accessories. It solves the problem that a single exhibition frame only supports posters of specific size on the market, and when users prepare posters of various sizes, some exhibition frames may be left idle and wasted, and the installation process is complicated, exhibition walls need professional installation and so on. The design can not only meet the requirements of conventional floor display racks, but also be used for the construction of small and medium-sized exhibition walls. At the same time, it is equipped with u-lock structure, so users can quickly fix the exhibition frame on lamppost and other products for the construction of posters or publicity plates. This design brings the user an efficient and convenient new assembly experience.

- This modular display frame has four sizes of frame rods, namely 15mm x 570mm; 15 mm x 620 mm; 15 mm x 950 mm; 15mm x 1020mm. Users can select the frame rod of the poster to be displayed according to their needs and build the exhibition frame. Through model verification, this design can be assembled into a small exhibition frame supporting the common poster size (1000mmx600mm) at the minimum, and a large exhibition frame supporting the common poster size (4000mmx4000mm) at the maximum.

U-shaped lock structure: Metal oxide is used for the material to prevent damage and be more durable. The display rack can be fixed on the lamp post and other temporary displays.
Aluminum alloy spray paint display rack stick: External spray paint to prevent oxidation, choose lighter aluminum alloy.
Frame rod: Both ends have a concave-convex tenon-and-mortar structure, one end is a magnet and the other end is a metal, which can be attracted to each other and assembled in a vertical or L shape. It is used for the basic construction of the framework. - Design Challenge
- In the preliminary investigation of this design, in addition to the online and offline information collection, the fishbone analysis method is also used for research and analysis, and several main reasons for the low utilization rate of the display frame are analyzed, such as inconvenient handling, single size type of support, disassembling vulnerable hands and so on...
- Research
- 1. There are many kinds of display racks, but they can only be displayed for posters of specific size, and cannot be adjusted, resulting in serious waste.
2. The installation steps of the display stand are tedious and the installation time is long. In addition, sometimes the hand-stretched hooks will cause scratches, and there is a certain risk.
3. Large exhibition stand has many connecting parts and complex assembling methods, which - Inspiration
- How to improve the utilization rate of exhibition racks by purchasing a set of exhibition racks that can be combined into various sizes? Finally, I came up with the design and assembly of childhood toys, Lego and snowflake inserts. Finally, through model verification, I decided to use snowflake, which is more simple and ingenious in form and can be fixed and assembled only on concave and convex sides.
- Project Duration
- The project started in March 2020 in CHONGQING and finished in June 2020 in CHONGQING, the model is on display at the Luo Zhongli Art Museum in Chongqing in June 2020.
- Operation Flow
- According to the size of the poster, select accessories. Assemble the frame by magnetic suction. Connect the support by rubber interference fit
This exhibition frame is more convenient and fast to carry, just select the required number of pipes and accessories to carry. In terms of use, it is out of the way of using the original exhibition rack. There is no need to worry about the mismatch between the size of the exhibition rack and the size of the poster. - Team Members
