DeliverE 自律型郵便配達車両について

DeliverEは、郵便サービス向けに設計された自律型郵便配達車両です。コンパクトなミニバンは電気モーターで駆動します。エネルギーはルーフに設置された曲面ソーラーパネルから供給され、日中さまざまな角度から太陽光を取り込みます。予備バッテリーは車両下部のパワートレイン内に配置されています。車内のロールコンベアには、計画されたGPSの順路に従って郵便局で荷物が積み込まれます。その後DeliverEはドライバーなしで各住所へと走行し、到着時にはテキストメッセージで受取人に通知します。そのシルエットは、伝統的な郵便配達員の帽子を想起させます。

独自の特性: Delivers Mail Autonomously and not requires a person to operate. Works as an electric stand alone system, and uses a roof solar panel to generate Energy.

製造技術: DeliverE is the future standard of mail delivery. Each vehicle is powered by an electric motor, which gets it's energy from a curved solar panel located on the roof, in order to capture more angles of sunlight during the day. Back-up batteries located at the bottom powertrain. Inside the vehicle there is a roll conveyor, which is loaded according to a GPS sequence in advance; determined according to the dispersion distance, in order to optimize resources.
デザインの課題: The idea of this product came before constructing it. through the design phase, the big challenge I had to confront with, is the implementation of an interesting, fresh, and interacting exterior shape, that can combine together with the ideal cubic space, which is an ideal for maximum vehicle capacity.
リサーチ: The research was about forms, technological aspects, and user interraction. Development of an appealing three-dimensional shape that can allow maximum space. A large study about internal components, for a smoother engagements with costumer and workers, which led me to continue with my original idea without changing its dimensions for its uniqueness. Research about different chassis, powertrains & solar energy. User experience, has been a major guide for me through the entire design process.
インスピレーション: Designed with agile movement, and very few lines.
Main silhouette, inspired by the iconic, and classic mailman hat that most of us know today.

The happy and funny feeling, is an anchor that was learned and tested during the entire design process, in order to avoid generic designs, and in order to imply an emotion, that occurs in interaction with this vehicle - which is an important thing since there is no mailman.
プロジェクト期間: The project started in March 2019 in Turin and finished in June 2020 in Turin, and won Honda's worldwide student design competition of 2019-2020 in Rome at September 2020.
オペレーションフロー: DeliverE is delivering mail autonomously, after it has been loaded up at the post office. the vehicle is Powered by sun light, and backed up with an electric powertrain which includes batteries.
When the vehicle arrives at the customer's address, a text message
is delivered to the recipient. With the help of pre-programmed GPS system, the vehicle reaches the next destination autonomously. The package arrival is a Happy ceremony, from a welcoming machine, that brings a bright future from AI.
