Molten High 多層階集合住宅について

モルテン・ハイは、陶芸が伝統的な生業であったインドの高温乾燥地帯の町に建つ多層階集合住宅である。そのデザインは、成形中に変形したまま焼成された土器の姿を想起させる。南西側の階段室をパラメトリックなスキンが覆い、濾された光と通風を階段へと導き、シンプルに並ぶ窓とバルコニーとの対比を生み出している。ファサードの溶け出したような表情は、特注のリサイクルプラスチック製リブによって作り出されている。建物は平面寸法20メートル×4メートル、高さ50メートルに達する。

リサーチ: The site context was studied to come up with the concept of the design. The pottery art of this town was to be highlighted in a modern contemporary manner to communicate to the international audience.
インスピレーション: The Residential Building is in the city of a hot and dry Tier 2 Town of India where pottery used to be a traditional profession. Molten High is an expression of a clay container being deformed while in its making and eventually baked to form an artistic expression of the traditional profession of the town.,
プロジェクト期間: The project is under construction at site. The design phase started in July 2020 and was delivered by Jan 2021
