Happiness ブローチ、ペンダントについて

「Happiness（幸福）」は、ブローチとしてもペンダントとしても身に着けられるジュエリーです。デザインには竹に寄り添う一羽のカササギが表現されており、東洋文化において幸運と高潔な人格を象徴する二つのモチーフが結び付けられています。カササギは伝統的な七宝（有線七宝）技法で制作され、豊かな色彩と質感が与えられています。竹はゴールドとシルバーで造形され、ダイヤモンドとエメラルドがセッティングされています。線付け、釉薬差し、高温での繰り返しの焼成、研磨に至るまで、すべての工程が手作業で仕上げられています。伝統工芸を現代のジュエリーへと昇華させることを意図した作品です。

独自の特性: The artist integrates the traditional cloisonne craft into the jewelry design, making the design more modern while retaining the traditional Oriental characteristics, and striving to make efforts for the inheritance and development of the traditional cloisonne craft.

製造技術: The magpie cloisonne process used by this work is very complicated, need after cutting, carving, tinsel, silver inlay, coated with glaze, high temperature, grinding, etc more than ten working procedure, to do work in 800 - degree firing 20-30 times, can obtain the beautiful color, and these should be done purely manual. Due to the uncertainty of handwork, the success rate of a perfect cloisonne is not high, which is all the more precious in today's speed seeking industrial age.
デザインの課題: The biggest challenge of this design is to break through the tradition and combine the cloisonne craftsmanship originally applied to the utensils with gold and gemstones to make the design a unique piece of jewelry.
リサーチ: Because the craftsmanship of Cloisonne uses copper as the inner bottom tire, in order to make the blue and green more vivid, it can experiment with silver tires. So the artist tried to adjust during the production process and successfully got more beautiful colors.
インスピレーション: As a bird that symbolizes auspiciousness, it is said that seeing a magpie means something good will happen. Bamboo is a very important plant in oriental culture, symbolizing noble and great character. The overall design is very oriental. The artist used cloisonne to create the magpie, showing the rich colors and textures that make the bird look more vivid. The bamboo behind it is gold and silver colour, inlaid with diamonds and emeralds, making the whole design more gorgeous.
プロジェクト期間: The project will be designed and produced in Beijing in 2021, and it will take 2 months in total.
