Erhu チェアについて

Erhuは、中国の伝統的な弦楽器である二胡から着想を得たチェアである。本デザインは、民族文化を現代家具の言語として用い、現代的な中国様式を探求している。構造はシンプルで、座面と脚部というわずか2つのパーツのみで構成されている。背もたれ、座面、前脚は、あらかじめ作製した型でプレスした一枚の曲木合板で形成されている。表面はアッシュ材とウォールナット材で突板仕上げを施し、脚部にはウォールナット材を使用している。後脚の形状は、明式家具の馬蹄形の脚を想起させる。曲線は人体のラインに沿うように設計されている。

独自の特性: Inspired by Erhu, a traditional Chinese classical instrument, the design incorporated national culture as a language of modern furniture, exploring a new style of contemporary Chinese furniture.
The structure is so simple that there are only two parts: seat surface and legs. The chair back, seat surface and front leg are made of curved plywood as a whole, and the three dimensional seating space is completed with two dimensional curves fitting the shape of the human body.
