Iceland Volcano 美術館について

アイスランド・ヴォルケーノは、アイスランドのミーヴァトン地域に位置する美術館である。円形のフォルムは、この地域の火口、温泉、湖から着想を得ている。楕円形のヴォリュームと交差する二つのスロープが、屋内と屋外をつなぐ連続的な空間を生み出している。館内のギャラリー、展望デッキとして利用できる歩行可能な屋根、そして大型彫刻が点在する屋外パークの周遊路という、三つのリング状の動線が用意されている。その中心にはリフレクティングプール（水盤）が配されている。ファサードは向きを変化させたルーバーによって構成され、日射をコントロールしている。

We overcame obstacles by researching historical and social perspectives, and considering external factors such as laws, production possibilities, and technological advancements. Our design emphasizes sustainability and materials that resonate with the environment, resulting in a unique, engaging space that showcases Myvatn's beauty.
