About Unvisible Landscapes 照明器具（ランプ）
「Unvisible Landscapes（見えない風景）」は、三次元フラクタルを基盤としたランプのシリーズです。そのフォルムは都市景観を想起させ、フラクタル生成ソフトウェアによって形づくられています。三次元モデリングソフトウェア上で表面にディスプレイスメントマップを適用し、そこから得られた形状をPLAフィラメントで3Dプリントしています。プリントされた各オブジェクトにはLEDストリップと電源が組み込まれ、フラクタルが光というかたちで立ち現れます。本シリーズは、数学的構造を物理的空間の中で可視化し、アートとデザインの領域へと導き入れる試みです。

- Unique Properties
- 3 dimensional fractals that bring associations with urban landscapes generated in fractal generation software and then transposed to physical space by 3d printing and presented in the form of light.

- Production Technology
- Fractal generation through Mandelbulb 3d software. 3d processing was made by applying displacement maps to surfaces in 3d modeling software. Physical objects were printed on a 3d printer with te use of PLA filament and then equipped with LED strips for lighting.
- Design Challenge
- This design is a part of the project 'Unvisible Spaces' with the aim to visualize and sonify 'unvisible' phenomena that take place in nature and introduce them to the field of art and design.
- Research
- Fractals generated by mutation of formulas and navigation in Mandelbulb 3d software. Then rendered and transposed into video, digital prints and 3d prints.

- Objective mathematical notions must be thought as timeless entities and are not to be regarded as being conjured into existence at the moment that they are first humanly perceived.
