About Samsa Karya Seni Fotografi
Samsa minangka karya seni fotografi saka seri Neglect. Seri iki nampilake spesimen serangga sing diawetake, sing umume wis punah utawa kaancam punah kritis. Gambar-gambar kasebut digawe nganggo sistem kamera digital lan lensa makro 105mm. Fungsi multishot digunakake kanggo nggawe file gedhe banget nganti 185 megapiksel. Studio cilik ing ndhuwur meja dibangun supaya spesimen sing ringkih bisa dipotret meh tanpa disenggol. Cetakan diprodhuksi ing rong ukuran lan ing edisi winates. Tujuane yaiku kanggo nuduhake kaendahan serangga sing ora lumrah lan narik kawigaten marang kepunahan serangga.

- Production Technology
- Digital photography with the Leica SL2 system and a 105mm Macro lens.
The photographer used the "Multishot" function of the Leica System to produce giant 185 megapixel pictures of these little creatures. - Design Challenge
- The hardest part was to invent a small table-top-studio situation to photograph the little very fragile prepared insects. The photographer wanted to touch them as little as possible because the preparations are very fragile.
- Inspiration
- Insect extinction is very real and not a made-up story.
And these little creatures do not have a loud lobby.
The photographer wants to show a little bit of the sometimes bizarre beauty of the insects, so that the viewer might see them with different eyes.
Florian W. Mueller worked before with the Senckenberg Institute on a project about mammals. - Project Duration
