High-rise buildings can be designed to meet high environmental standards by incorporating features such as energy-efficient systems, green roofs, and renewable energy sources. As the city grows in low density fashion, the quality of living has not improved with more equitable public amenities and infrastructure. The Lagos Lagoon on the other hand is a signature waterfront for its CBD but is currently filled with oil rig and tanks. Sky Rig retrofits these structures. Existing communities can benefit from better open spaces, greenery, renewable energy, sanitation, and communal spaces.
