About Good Boy Good Girl ರಾಟನ್ ಶಿಲ್ಪ
ಗುಡ್ ಬಾಯ್ ಗುಡ್ ಗರ್ಲ್ ಎಂಬುದು ಮಗುವಿನ ಆಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುವ ಜೋಡಿ ರಾಟನ್ ಶಿಲ್ಪಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಶಿಲ್ಪವು ಸುಮಾರು 1.4 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರವಿದ್ದು, ಲೋಹದ ರಚನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಣೆದ ರಾಟನ್‌ನಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕೃತಿಯು ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪೋಷಕರು ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಳಸುವ ಬೆತ್ತವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಬೆತ್ತವು ಮಗುವಿನ ಸ್ವಭಾವವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಈ ಶಿಲ್ಪಗಳು ವೇಗದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳ ನಿಶ್ಚಲಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಹಿಡಿತವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ದೇಹ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಎರಡರ ಬಿಗಿತವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ರಾಟನ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
