About Plover 다목적 의자
플로버(Plover)는 강의실, 세미나실, 협업 워크숍 공간을 위해 디자인된 다목적 의자입니다. 이 의자는 다양한 착석 자세를 지원합니다. 사용자는 일반적인 정면 착석 자세로 앉을 수도 있고, 등받이를 앞쪽으로 두고 말을 타듯 앉을 수도 있습니다. 플로버의 특징적인 요소는 작은 작업면 역할을 하는 일체형 태블릿입니다. 이 태블릿은 측면으로 앉을 때 팔걸이가 되기도 하고, 발받침이 있는 높은 좌석으로도 활용됩니다. 의자는 개별적으로 사용하거나 여러 개를 모아 토론 및 공동 창작 활동에 활용할 수 있습니다.

- Unique Properties
- Plover is a multi-purpose chair that allow various sitting postures to meet different work cultures and environments:
1. conventional front-facing seating concept;
2. horse-riding back-to-front seating concept with small tablet as wrist-support for texting with mobile phones;
3. Side seating concept with small tablet as armrest on the side;
4. High-level seating concept with user on tablet as stool with footrest
5. Two-tier seating concept with users sitting on seat and tablet levels

- Free like a Bird
With the ability to roam the earth and soar up into the sky, birds are natural symbols of freedom. Capturing this free spirit of the birds as well as the duality of their solitary and social nature, Plover is a collection of chairs co-created by architect Eravolution Limited and a group of THEi product design students, either used individually or collectively for brainstorming, seminars and co-creation.
The Plover chairs may appear delicate, but they got everything one needs. - Project Duration
