About Time Book 북엔드
타임 북(Time Book)은 책상이나 책장에서 사용할 수 있도록 디자인된 북엔드이다. 각 북엔드는 손으로 연마한 크리스털 유리 블록으로 제작되었다. 표면에는 특수 잉크로 실크스크린 인쇄를 한 뒤 고온에서 경화 처리하였다. 크리스털 유리의 높은 밀도는 사용 시 북엔드에 안정감을 부여한다. 이 디자인은 기능, 형태, 소재 면에서 미니멀하며, 책 모양의 조각품을 연상시킨다. 형태가 기능을 명확하게 드러낸다. 인쇄된 텍스트에는 퀸사이 파르토(Quinsay Parto) 서체가 사용되었다. 책등에 새겨진 MMXIX는 2019년을 뜻하는 로마 숫자이다.

- Unique Properties
- Bookends are made by hand-polished crystal glass blocks. Special ink was screen printed on the surface and cured at high temperature. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when in use.
Time Book is minimalistic in terms of function, form and material, it’s like a book-shaped sculpture. The function is clearly presented by its form.
The text on the book uses Quinsay Parto typeface designed by Time book’s designer. The “MMXIX” on the book spine is the Roman numeral writing of “2019”. - Dimensions & Packaging

- Time Book is inspired by Marquez’s novel. The opening of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is printed on Time Book. It is the beginning of a great novel.
- Project Duration
- The project started in April 2018 and finished in December 2018 in Hangzhou(China), and was exhibited in Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai in February 2019.
- Operation Flow
- Time Book can be placed on a desk or a bookshelf. The high density of crystal glass gives them perfect stability when it is used.stability when in use.
