아이리스(Irises)는 빈센트 반 고흐의 회화에서 영감을 받은 더블 링입니다. 이 그림에는 길고 검처럼 뾰족한 잎을 가진 푸른 꽃들이 담겨 있습니다. 반지에서는 블루 사파이어와 런던 토파즈, 스카이 토파즈로 꽃을 표현하고, 조각된 금으로 움직이는 잎사귀를 형상화했습니다. 이 반지는 18캐럿 금을 사용해 수공으로 제작되었으며, 무광 마감과 프롱 세팅이 적용되었습니다. 가볍고 착용감이 편안한 작품입니다. 자연과 회화의 색채와 형태를 착용 가능한 오브제로 옮겨오는 것이 이 작품의 의도입니다.

Unique Properties: Van Gogh’s irises have blue flowers with sword shaped leaves that are long and laminar. The flowers are represented in this double ring by sapphires and topazes while the sculptured gold conveys the leaves in their movement. The double ring is both comfortable and stunning!

Handmade, matte finish and prong setting
Design Challenge: During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found.
Research: After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
