About Dragon 레스토랑 인테리어 디자인

드래곤(Dragon)은 베이징의 한 핀테크 오피스 빌딩 내에 위치한 레스토랑 인테리어이다. 2500제곱미터 규모의 이 디자인은 자연 요소를 바탕으로 한 차분한 분위기를 추구한다. 주된 과제는 식사 공간의 80퍼센트가 지하에 위치해 자연광이 전혀 들지 않는다는 점이었다. 따라서 자연을 재현하는 방식을 택했다. 디지털 기술을 활용한 타설 콘크리트로 폭포와 수공간을 조성했으며, 구리 소재의 오리들이 수면 위를 헤엄치는 듯한 모습을 연출한다. 프라이빗 다이닝룸은 식물과 계절감을 담아 계곡의 형상을 떠올리게 하고, 인공조명이 이러한 폐쇄적인 공간을 뒷받침한다.

Unique Properties: The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

Inspiration: Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.

Operation Flow: Even though it is underground, people like its environment and feel good because of the simulation of light and the nature.
