Minimal Techno 안락의자 소개

미니멀 테크노(Minimal Techno)는 재활용 solid 스틸과 재사용된 대나무 원목 마루재로 제작된 안락의자 프로토타입이다. 프레임은 무광 블랙으로 코팅되었으며, 브러시드 브라스 나사가 대나무 슬랫을 단단히 고정한다. 얇은 스틸과 대나무가 좌면에 탄력을 부여해 장시간 앉아 있어도 편안함이 유지된다. 구조는 견고하며 250파운드 이상의 하중을 견디는 것으로 시험을 통해 검증되었다. 일본의 미니멀리즘과 여백(네거티브 스페이스)의 활용이 형태를 이끌었다. 단 세 가지 소재만을 사용하여 안락의자의 재생산이 간편하도록 했다.

고유 특성: This is a prototype arm chair which is constructed from recycled solid steel and repurposed bamboo hardwood flooring. It has a matte black coating with brushed brass screws to hold the bamboo slats in place. The design is meant to feel delicate, yet strong and robust. Because of the thin steel and bamboo, this design has amazing flexibility and is quite comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.

생산 기술: This is the first arm chair I have brought to fruition. I wanted it to make a statement piece and be sustainable. all of the materials except the screws are from recycled material. I am still sourcing recycled brass to make this a fully recycled product. The chair consists of only three materials, which makes it easy to reproduce. I am looking into ways to make this product more compact for shipping purposes when it goes to production.
디자인 과제: The biggest problem with the design of this arm chair, was to find a way to have a comfortable and delicate, yet strong arm chair while using the least amount of materials. Thus using solid steel and hard wood was the way to go to achieve the desired effect. Light, flexible, sleek and strong.
영감: Japanese minimalism and the use of negative space are the main inspirations for this project.
프로젝트 기간: This project was conceived in Vancouver, Canada on march 26 2021 and completed on march 30TH 2021
운영 흐름: This design was made with the use of negative space being in the forefront. It is designed to feel as though not much space is being consumed, yet has a large presence. the construction is very strong and can hold weights that exceed 250lbs as tested.
