Bavvic 빌딩 블록 소개

Bavvic은 어린이를 위한 창의적인 빌딩 블록 세트이다. 목재 블록은 가구 및 창호 생산 후 남은 지역산 너도밤나무로 제작되었다. 촉각적인 실리콘 커넥터가 블록들을 서로 맞물리게 하여 추상적인 형태를 만들 수 있게 한다. 각 블록의 크기는 80 x 80 x 7.9밀리미터이며, 각 커넥터의 크기는 40 x 40 x 8.4밀리미터이다. 정해진 정답이 없는 개방형 디자인은 인지 및 운동 능력, 공간 상상력, 문제 해결력, 의사 결정력, 창의적 사고를 길러준다. Bavvic은 모든 연령대가 직접 손으로 만지며 노는 놀이를 통해 배움을 이어가도록 돕기 위해 기획되었다.

고유 특성: Multifunctional, sensory open-ended building blocks that help to engage children in a culture of learning through creative hands-on approach. Meet BAVVIC - Creative Building Blocks, the new product that carries attributes of a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mat) toy and aids in developing interest in education, through geometrical shapes and abstract forms.
치수 및 패키징: The basic dimension of variety of geometrical wooden blocks is 80mm x 80mm x 7.9mm.

생산 기술: Creative wooden blocks are made from leftovers of furniture and windows producation. The basic material is a local beech tree. The second component are sensory silicon connectors. It is a BFA toxic free silicon.
디자인 과제: The hardest part of this designing BAVVIC was to find a right wooden elements. BAVVIC blocks are design to create abstract forms by interlock wooden blocks with sensory silicon connectors.
영감: The project started during the spontanous discussion of two female friends - Maria and Hania about their kids. It turned into idea of doing something together. The basic principal was to do something with the wooden leftovers from the furniture and windows production. Hania's husband is an award winning architect. He accepted the challange. This is how the adventure of creating unique minimalistic toy/building blocks started.
프로젝트 기간: Project started in the end of 2020 by a phone call discussion in Zurich, Switzerland.
