'아름다운 국경 고속도로(Gorgeous Frontier Highway)'는 중국 국도 G331을 위해 개발된 브랜드 아이덴티티이다. 이 도로는 중국 북부 국경을 따라 이어지며, 헤이룽장성에 길게 뻗은 변경 방위 도로를 형성한다. 디자인 요소는 지형학, 식생 그리고 도로 자체에서 착안하였다. 반원은 지형을, 잎사귀는 식생을, 선은 고속도로를 상징한다. 이러한 요소들을 결합하여 자연의 문화와 현대적 그래픽 형식을 하나로 잇는다. 이 아이덴티티는 이 노선이 지닌 사계절의 변화와 생동감 넘치는 지역 문화를 담아낸다.

Unique Properties: China National Highway G331, runs along the China northern border, which is a thousand-mile frontier defense road in Heilongjiang province, China. Just as the slogan says, “Incredible Nature, Amazing Heritage” which means animismperceives all things as animated and alive, experience the extraordinary four seasons on this gorgeous highway. The designer used it as starting point, made originalityatop priorityinthis new brand image for G331.
Inspiration: The designerextractedthedesign elementsfrom geomorphology, vegetation and highway. These essential elements are assembled withdifferentfunctions, the semicircle represents geomorphology, the leaf represents vegetation, and the line represents highway. Thenatural culture andmodern elementsare gathered tointegratethe newest conceptsofG331. Designer found creative ways to present this energetic&fashionable highway, shows its distinctiveandlivelyculture.
