Ceremony 등받이 없는 의자 소개

세리머니(Ceremony)는 앉기, 차 마시기, 대화를 위해 디자인된 등받이 없는 의자이다. 프레임은 호두나무로 제작되었으며 중국 전통 장부맞춤 기법으로 결합되었다. 이 구조는 사용되는 재료의 양을 줄이면서도 좌석은 사용 시 안정적이고 편안한 상태를 유지한다. 좌면과 다리는 컴퓨터 제어 가공으로 절삭한 후 수작업 연마로 마감하였다. 의자는 사용자가 직접 조립할 수 있도록 배송된다. 그 형태는 앉는 행위를 예의를 갖춘 행동으로 이해하는 중국의 의례 문화를 참조한다. 의자의 크기는 너비 400mm, 깊이 320mm, 높이 430mm이다.

고유 특성: This is the design of a seat. Through structural innovation, this seat reduces the application of materials, and has a more stable and comfortable use experience. The form language of the seat has more charm characteristics of oriental culture.

생산 기술: Use Chinese (tenon and mortise joint) technology to connect the whole. The bench surface and leg are carved by CNC digital control machine in the first step, and then fine tuned by manual polishing. The material is walnut or black walnut, and the digital production adopts 3D virtual model.
디자인 과제: Finding a technical solution capable of merge at the highest-level aesthetic, comfort and sustainability,This also allows the use of few materials to maximize the functionality of the product.
연구: This is the design of a seat. The inspiration for the design comes from China's etiquette and civilization. The Book of Rites - The Moon Order has more meaning of treating each other with courtesy. The concept of the chair was based on important aspects of a good design, such as comfort, quality, and sustainable values. Nowadays a product needs to represent more than ever these key elements. This concept makes this chair unique along with its minimalist lines.
영감: This seat is inspired by Chinese ritual, which has appeared in oracle bone inscriptions and early inscriptions on gold. In the Book of Rites, Yueling has more meaning of treating each other with courtesy. The behavior of sitting is also a kind of etiquette, and the design semantics of products also follow the etiquette culture and then expand. In the background study, it analyzes the inheritance of the spirit of ritual.
프로젝트 기간: This project is completely new and unseen until now. Started and finished in Madrid inNovember 2022.
