Shahrokh 의자 소개

샤록(Shahrokh)은 '빛나는 얼굴을 지닌 이'라는 뜻이다. 샤록의 전체적인 형태는 이란과 중동 지역의 전통적인 좌식 문화에서 영감을 얻었다. 과거 이 지역 사람들은 바닥에 앉아 생활했으며, 편안함을 위해 무크타(mukhta)라 불리는 일종의 바닥 의자를 사용했다. 샤록의 일체형 매트리스는 무크타에서 착안한 것으로, 현대적인 사용이 가능하도록 바닥면에서 분리되어 설계되었다. 이 의자를 디자인한 목적은 우아하고 카리스마 있으며 건축 공간 안에서 그 존재감을 드러내는 오브제를 구현하는 것이었다.

The purpose of designing this chair was to achieve an object that is elegant and charismatic and shows itself in the architectural space. Have a simple form but attract attention. For the design of Shahrokh, designer tried to make the final result harmonious in different spaces (with various functions).

생산 기술: Shahrokh consists of two main parts, a single mattress, which is connected to the foot and back parts, and a metal structure. Holes were made in the back and under the leather mattress so that the air between the fibers inside the mattress can escape and create more softness, and after the user of the mattress gets up, it breathes and returns to its previous state.
The structure is made of bent metal pipes (diameter 1.5) and made in two pieces. The first part holds the mattress and the second part is the base of the chair. These two parts are connected by fine tubes (0.8 cm).
디자인 과제: The strength of the delicate metal structure was one of the construction problems, which provided by the middle pipes. The second problem was to make it possible to vent the air of the leather mattress, which would prevent tearing or wear of the leather when sitting and standing up and provide more comfort. This problem was solved by installing several holes under and behind the mattress.

In the past, people in these lands used to sit on the ground and used a kind of ground chair called "mukhta" for comfort. The Shahrokh’s integrated mattress is designed with an eye to "mukhta" and is separated from the ground level for the possibility of contemporary use.
