Self Defense Mechanism 남성복 컬렉션 소개

'자기방어기제(Self Defense Mechanism)'는 착용자를 감싸는 보호막으로 기능하도록 구상된 남성복 컬렉션이다. 이 컬렉션은 한 사람이 하루에 소화할 수 있는 양보다 훨씬 많은 메시지를 받아들이게 된 정보 과잉의 시대에 대한 응답이다. 뉴런과 메시(그물) 구조의 기하학에서 출발한 프린트는 번지고 흐려지는 인상을 자아내어, 바깥세상이 한층 흐릿하게 보이고 마음은 평온을 유지할 수 있도록 한다. 면과 나일론 메시를 함께 봉제해 프린트 패턴과 호응하는 새로운 질감을 만들어냈다. 의상은 표준 남성 치수를 따르며 일상복으로도 착용할 수 있다.

고유 특성: This collection perfectly embody the concept in our daily life. It easily can tell the whole concept from the appearance of the garment. These clothes are aimed to consider as a protective layer for ourselves to stabilize in this world. Avoiding us suffering from this world full of information. Thus, we can clean ourself clear and stay calm.
치수 및 패키징: measurement is same as normal garment for men
태그: defense, protection, complicated, feelings, message, neurotransmission, electricity
생산 기술: Using neuron and mesh geometry on prints symbolizes the spread and blur which makes us can't see what the outside world looks like and maintain our mind clear. By sewing cotton and nylon mesh together to create a new texture which is similar to the pattern I design for this collection.
디자인 과제: The hardest part is to create the texture by sewing cotton and nylon mesh together. It's hard to copy the shape of neurons.
연구: It's the idea come up in my mind, the concept start from the imagination of me hiding in my own womb and observing this world. The real one hiding inside and the fake one control me to live my life. And It is exactly how the Augment Reality works. So in my initially research, it fulls of the image of AR(hiding in womb), neurons (feeling), electricity (neurotransmission).
영감: In the era of information explosions, humans are stimulated by various environments. The messages that make us receive in one day actually are far more than one person could undertake. Consequently, these clothes are aimed to consider as a protective layer for ourselves to stabilize in this world. Using neuron and mesh geometry on prints symbolizes the spread and blur which makes us can't see what the outside world looks like and maintain our mind clear.
프로젝트 기간: The project started in September 2021 in Taipei and finished in March 2022 also in Taipei, made as my graduate project which also the last project before I graduate.
운영 흐름: People can wear this collection as normal clothing, but also wear it to anywhere depend on their feeling. As long as you feel great to this collection then that's the reason.
