Escape 업무 분리형 의상 소개

이스케이프(Escape)는 착용자가 업무에서 벗어나도록 돕기 위해 디자인된 여성복이다. 이스케이프는 업무와 휴식 사이의 빠른 전환을 가능하게 하여, 격식 있는 슈트나 셔츠가 몇 초 만에 캐주얼한 레저웨어로 변신한다. 신축성 있는 밴드와 당길 수 있는 스트랩이 이러한 변형을 가능하게 한다. 넥타이를 당기면 각 부분 사이의 연결이 풀리면서 의상이 드레이프되어 디자인이 완전히 달라진다. 이스케이프는 제로 웨이스트 패턴 커팅 방식으로 제작되어 원단 폐기물을 5퍼센트 미만으로 유지한다. 그 의도는 근무 시간 이후의 심리적 분리를 지원하는 데 있다.

고유 특성: In this project, I created a swift switch between on and off-work status through quick changes of clothes so as to help the wearer quickly get rest. In the meantime, I practiced zero-waste tailoring to achieve "single piece in two-way dressing," embodying the sustainable fashion concept from every detail of the cloth.
치수 및 패키징: Throughout the project's pattern making process, I used zero-waste cutting techniques in the whole project, ensuring fabric waste was kept to less than 5%, thus adhering to the principles of sustainable fashion, minimizing fabric waste during the production process.

생산 기술: In my research, I found that people often habitually pull their ties downward or unbutton their collars after work, so my first development direction is to study how to quickly change the shape of clothing through wearers’ movements.
영감: The inspiration for this project came from the WeChat message prompt sound that kept coming to my mind after work.
In today’s society, it is difficult for people to truly detach themselves from work. Psychological detachment refers to the withdrawal of individuals from the working state at both the time, space and psychological perspectives after work, so that the individual is temporarily away from work in both physical and mental aspects.
프로젝트 기간: The project started in February 2023 in Beijing and finished in May 2023 in Beijing, and was showed in Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology Graduate Fashion Show in June 2023.
운영 흐름: I mainly researched two ways of making the fast switch possible: plasticity of elastic bands and pullable straps. Work outfits like serious suits and shirts can be turned into casual leisure outfits by certain adjustments within seconds.For example, applying a necktie to unfasten the connection between different sections to drape the garment so as to completely alter the design.
