트랭퀼 오아시스(Tranquil Oasis)는 유동 인구가 많은 상업용 건물을 위한 로비 디자인이다. 실내는 질감이 살아 있는 자연석과 따뜻한 목재, 살아 있는 식물을 활용해 차분한 분위기를 조성한다. 베이지와 토프 같은 따뜻한 어스 톤을 간결한 기하학적 형태와 결합했다. 보석처럼 작은 액세서리 요소들이 과하지 않게 정제된 디테일을 더한다. 색온도 조절이 가능한 따뜻한 LED 조명과 내구성이 뛰어난 저VOC 마감재가 전반에 적용되었다. 모듈형 요소를 통해 60제곱미터에서 300제곱미터 규모의 로비까지 유연하게 확장 적용할 수 있다. 휴식과 업무 모두에 적합한, 고요하고 환대감 있는 공간을 목표로 한다.

연구: We aimed to make busy lobbies feel peaceful. We looked at how people move and feel in spaces. We tried different stones, woods, and plants. We asked people what they liked. We found that natural things and warm colors relax people. Also, we learned how to make the design fit lobbies of any size. This makes lobbies nicer to be in, less stressful, and good for work or relaxing.
영감: Drawing inspiration from biophilic design, this project seeks to integrate natural elements into a modern commercial space.
