About Breathing Apple 아트 퍼니처 인스톨레이션
브리딩 애플(Breathing Apple)은 의자로도 사용할 수 있는 아트 인스톨레이션이다. 사과의 외형을 유지하면서도 불규칙한 함몰부를 통해 압력에 의해 형태가 변형된 신체를 연상시킨다. 표면이 눌리고 다시 회복되는 모습은 호흡과 내면의 소생이라는 개념을 표현한다. 이 작품은 공장에서 버려진 가죽 자투리를 손바느질로 이어 붙여 제작되었다. 자연스러운 색상 편차, 드러난 스티치 선, 다듬지 않은 가장자리가 따뜻하고 촉각적인 질감을 만들어낸다. 인체공학에 기반한 곡선 설계로, 전시용 예술 작품으로 선보일 수도 있고 일상적인 좌석으로 사용할 수도 있다.

- Breathing Apple is a unique piece that blends art installation with functional furniture. The piece focuses on the concept of breathing, using its shape of indentation and recovery to symbolize the inner revival of the individual. It reflects a philosophical idea of striving for completeness within imperfection. The Breathing Apple can be used as a piece of display art as well as an everyday chair. The design incorporates ergonomics, emphasizes home comfort, and artistic innovation.

- Operation Flow
- Each piece of leather in the Breathing Apple is carefully selected, paired, and sewn together by the designer, reflecting the craft and warmth of the maker. The result is a tactile fruit of life with beautiful curves and textures that invite touch. The design avoids mechanical cutting, leaving the leather’s natural edges intact, highlighting the idea that imperfections are what make it unique.
