About Creative Board 필기 가능한 월 패널

크리에이티브 보드(Creative Board)는 주거 공간과 업무 공간을 위해 디자인된 필기 가능한 월 패널이다. 각 보드는 두꺼운 강판에 포세린 에나멜을 융착한 뒤 고온의 가마에서 소성하여 제작된다. 표면은 자석 부착이 가능하며, 잔상이 남지 않고 비다공성으로 얼룩, 긁힘, 열, 부식에 강하다. 드라이 이레이즈 마커, 웨트 이레이즈 마커, 네온 마커를 사용할 수 있으며 표면은 잔여물 없이 깨끗하게 닦인다. 뮤지엄 레일을 통해 액자에 담긴 예술 작품처럼 가로 또는 세로 방향으로 설치할 수 있다. 보드는 한정 수량으로 생산되며 맞춤 사이즈와 색상으로 주문할 수 있다.

Unique Properties: The Creative Board is a porcelain enamel surface fused to heavy-gauge steel, designed as functional art. Hung with museum rails horizontally or vertically, it is magnetic, ghost-free, scratch-resistant, and works with dry and wet erase markers. The non-porous, luminous surface resists staining, yellowing, heat, and corrosion while remaining easy to clean and colorfast. Produced in limited runs, Creative Boards are durable, sustainable, and customizable in size and color.
Dimensions & Packaging: Standard Creative Board dimensions: 610 mm x 762 mm x 44 mm (24 x 30 x 1.75 in). Weight approximately 18 to 20 kg. Custom sizes and colors are available. Surface: kiln fired porcelain enamel fused to heavy gauge steel. Properties: magnetic, ghost free, non porous, stain and scratch resistant, heat and chemical resistant, corrosion proof, and designed for multi generational use.

Production Technology: The Creative Board is produced through a multi layered enameling process. Finely ground frit and natural metal oxides are applied to heavy gauge steel and kiln fired at high temperatures, permanently fusing enamel to the substrate. The result is a non-porous, corrosion resistant surface with vivid, non-fading color. Each piece requires skilled artisanship to achieve a flawless finish and heirloom quality.
Design Challenge: The main challenge was identifying a writable surface that allowed vivid color, was easy to clean, and would not fade, chip, peel, or ghost. Porcelain enamel was tested against other materials to achieve durable, ghost-free performance and lasting color through organic compounds. Obstacles included sustainability and fabrication precision. Collaboration with artisans confirmed porcelain enamel as viable, showing how heritage craft and research can yield sustainable, functional art for modern needs.
Research: Research explored how a common tool could be transformed into functional art. Objectives included testing porcelain enamel against other materials for durability, ghost-free writing, and vivid, lasting color. Methods combined material trials, artisan expertise, and user testing. Results showed resistance to staining, scratching, fading, and wear. Insights confirmed the value of sustainable, lasting objects that enrich spaces while rejecting throwaway culture.
Inspiration: This design was inspired by the idea of transforming a practical tool into timeless art. Guided by modernist color theory and the enduring qualities of porcelain enamel, it reflects a belief that utility should also inspire. Handcrafted by artisans, each board is fused to heavy-gauge steel through a multi-layered process using natural metal oxides. The result is vivid, non-fading color, a smooth, resilient surface, and heirloom quality that rejects throwaway culture.
Project Duration: The project began in July 2024 in Boulder, Colorado and Austin, Texas, with prototyping and artisan collaboration. Production was realized in 2025 through small batch fabrication. The Creative Board was first introduced publicly in late June and early July 2025 as part of the debut launch of HUE Collection.
Operation Flow: The Creative Board mounts gallery-style with secure museum rails and can hang vertically or horizontally like a canvas. Its porcelain enamel surface is smooth, luminous, and ghost-free, compatible with dry erase, wet erase, and neon markers. It wipes clean without residue, merging daily utility with lasting artistry and vivid color for any interior.
