About Yansen 커피 머신
얀센(Yansen)은 컴팩트한 형태로 원두를 분쇄하고 커피를 추출하는 커피 머신이다. 수직으로 적층된 모듈형 본체는 분쇄부터 추출까지의 전 과정을 좁은 설치 면적 안에 담아낸다. 상단 모듈은 90도 회전하여 추출을 준비하고, 보관 시에는 원래 위치로 되돌아간다. 상단 면의 터치스크린으로 조작이 가능하며, 스테인리스 스틸 버 그라인더는 다섯 단계의 분쇄도를 제공한다. 이 머신은 3초 만에 예열되고 30초 만에 에스프레소 한 샷을 추출한다. 금속 본체는 대부분 재활용 소재로 제작되었다.

- Unique Properties
- This product integrates multiple functions into a portable form, ready to offer premium coffee in diverse scenarios. With a vertically stacked modular design, it accommodates the entire process from grinding to extraction within a compact footprint no larger than an A4 sheet when viewed from the front, saving space while adapting to various coffee solutions. Moreover, it preheats in 3 seconds and brews a single espresso shot in 30 seconds, meeting modern pursuits of both efficiency and quality.

The coffee machine uses environmentally friendly materials including recycled aluminum, rABS, rPET, and rPP, making it 80 percent recyclable. - Design Challenge
- The key challenge was to balance ease of use with coffee quality. To this end, the product features a rotating dual module design that ditches the bulk of traditional all in one coffee machines. It preheats in 3s and brews an espresso shot in 30s for greater convenience and efficiency. With professional technologies such as 20 bar high pressure extraction, low pressure preinfusion, and pulse cold brewing, it allows even beginners to easily enjoy consistently rich, exceptional coffee with ease.

- As urban life accelerates and living spaces shrink, traditional all in one coffee machines, with their bulky, complex designs, fail to meet evolving needs. This product addresses this gap with an innovative rotating dual module structure. It combines grinding and brewing functions while offering portability and compact storage. Free from fixed settings, it is ready to offer the authentic espresso experience whether at home for breakfast, during an office break, or on an outdoor adventure.
- Inspiration
- This design is born from the modern pursuit of premium coffee that is also convenient to prepare. In the fast paced world, people crave the rich flavor of freshly ground beans but want to avoid cumbersome processes and space constrains. This trend is driving the need for machines that offer professional results and flexible portability, seamlessly fitting into kitchens, offices, and life on the go to unlock the power of a freshly brewed cup to brighten everyday moments.
- Project Duration
- The design and development of the coffee machine stated in 2022. It was introduced to the market in 2023.
- Operation Flow
- When not in use, the top module rotates to align with the bottom, saving storage space. Simply rotate the upper module 90 degrees to prepare the machine for brewing. Operation becomes convenient and fun. A top mounted touchscreen offers intuitive control.
The stainless steel burr grinder system offers five adjustable grind levels for personalized needs. The integrated weight sensor automatically calculates the dose and matches the ideal grind level, making the machine friendly to beginners. - Team Members
